ILEC Fused Power Supply
The Revolution in Aircraft Electrical Architecture: Intelligent. Decentralized. Secure.
No more “cable jungle” in the cockpit
In modern aircraft, every centimeter and every gram counts. Yet most cockpits present the same scene: a massive wall of circuit breakers on the right side, which necessitates an extremely complex and heavy wiring system in the instrument panel.
ILEC FPS puts an end to that.

ILEC FPS – Fused Power Supply
Compact display for the cockpit
The Concept: Decentralization for Maximum Efficiency
Instead of running every cable from the battery through the panel to the load and back, the ILEC FPS relocates the fuse to where it’s needed: near the loads.
• Centralized control: A compact display in the cockpit replaces the mechanical fuse matrix. You can see the status of all circuits at a glance – right in your field of view.
• Decentralized protection: The FPS modules are installed throughout the aircraft (e.g., in the wing roots or behind the engine bulkhead).
• Digital communication: Control is handled via thin data lines instead of thick power cable bundles.
Technical Highlights of the
ILEC Fused Power Supply
• Intelligent fuse characteristics: Electronic emulation of thermal fuses for maximum reliability without mechanical wear.
• Redundancy concept: Based on the proven design for high-performance gliders (such as the Ventus 3M neo), the system offers maximum reliability through redundant CPU monitoring. Up to five batteries can be connected. Seamless automatic switching.
• Easy maintenance: A glance at the display immediately reveals which channel has tripped. No more fumbling for popped-out buttons during flight. Log file available for service.
• Flexibility: Group activation of channels via a switch and individual configuration of fuse values allow for perfect adaptation to any aircraft model.
Advantages of the ILEC FPS – Fused Power Supply
| Feature | Conventional wiring | ILEC FPS System |
| Cabling effort | Extremely high (arranged in a star shape relative to the panel) | Minimal (decentralized bus structure) |
| Weight | High due to massive wiring harnesses | Significantly reduced |
| Space requirements in the panel | Takes up valuable space for avionics | Just a compact display/ control panel |
| Diagnosis | Manual search for errors | Real-time Monitoring & Error Reporting |
| Safety | Mechanical triggering | High-precision electronic protection |
